Darlene MacKinnon

Darlene MacKinnon is vice president, Human Resources for the Global Project Delivery, India and Americas organizations, at Air Products. Her scope also includes the Global Equipment businesses, Technology, the Chief Engineer’s Office, and Operational Excellence. Ms. MacKinnon is responsible for developing and implementing business-aligned solutions that foster an inclusive, high performance culture, as well as attracting, developing and retaining a diverse, world-class workforce.

Ms. MacKinnon joined Air Products in 2013 as director, Global Diversity & Inclusion (D&I). In 2015, she added Talent Management to her responsibilities, with accountability for the development and implementation of a global D&I strategy and revamping the company’s solutions and processes related to performance management, high potential identification and development, succession planning, and learning and development. Ms. MacKinnon served as executive director, Human Resources for the Americas and Global Helium organizations, followed by executive director for the global organizations aligned to the Office of the Chief Operating Officer, prior to assuming her current position. 

Ms. MacKinnon holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, Canada. She has attended executive education programs at both the Institute for Management Development in Lausanne, Switzerland and Babson University in Boston.
